Cliff Cottage
As featured in issues 79 & 80 of Down Your Way Magazine - childhood memories in
Staithes
| Sleeps 4. · Pub nearby · Cot available · 3+ night Short (Off Peak) Breaks |
| This charming fisherman's cottage is set at the
top of a street leading up from the harbour. The Cleveland Way passes by the
cottage and there are many lovely clifftop walks in the area and the whole of
the North York Moors and coast are within easy driving distance. With views
across a pretty garden and an attractive secluded valley, ideal for those
interested in wild life. Shops 250 yards; pub 100 yards, beach 100 yards. Ground
floor: Lounge, dining kitchen. First floor: 2 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 single
(for alternative sleeping only). Second floor: 1 twin bedroom, bathroom with
elec shower over bath, toilet & basin. Utility outhouse with washing facilities,
Belfast sink and toilet. Services: Open fire. Elec heater, M/wave. Storage heaters. All elec & bed linen inc. Parking for 1 small to medium sized car (saving £5 per night). Cot. H/chair. Washer/dryer in outhouse & drying facilities. Secure Bike Cycle store. South facing terrace & lawn area with furniture. Non smokers only. Sorry no pets. To be cautious and sensitive to needs, I will say that this is a true old "cottage" in a rugged coastal location and consequently is for the more adventurous and active person due to the two flights of stairs and hills entering and leaving the village.
